In Science our vision is:
To give students the knowledge they need to understand the amazing universe around them, to understand why things happen the way they do and to be able contribute to the next generation of scientific developments.
Curriculum Aim
At Beechwood School, in Science, our curriculum aim is to ensure pupils build a strong network of knowledge and facts and be able to retrieve them fluently. To be able to use their knowledge in a wide range of scenarios and to speak and write like a scientist. To become a strong reader in science, so they can access texts outside of the curriculum and have the outcomes that give them the choice of studying science beyond beechwood.
