We are looking to appoint a Teacher of English who will primarily be based at Beechwood School.

Beechwood is seeking an ambitious, well-motivated and capable qualified teacher with a passion for English with preferably a good knowledge of evidence-based reading strategies for literacy who is able to engage students in a lively and innovative way. We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Office Manager.

The post holder will be responsible for the smooth running of the school office and main reception areas undertaking administrative and organisational processes, in particular working closely with the Director of Studies for Sixth Form, to provide a comprehensive Sixth Form administration support service.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated person with excellent customer care experience to work in our busy reception and Student Services areas.  The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day handling of visitors and enquiries to our busy reception area whilst supporting teaching and learning through the provision of a first-class administrative support service to include word processing and reprographics within our school community.  The post holder will also assist in providing hospitality for our letting booking guests.  The candidate should be proficient in the use of IT to include Microsoft (we are a Google school so experience here is desirable).  Proven administrative experience is required to ensure that a high level of service is delivered.  You will be first aid trained or willing to undertake relevant training in this regard.  A professional and customer focussed approach and a willingness to undertake training is essential.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented individual to provide medical support to students at the School.  The successful candidate will also be responsible for keeping up to date records of students with medical conditions which includes the maintenance of the medical needs register and the writing and updating of medical care plans for individual students.   You will care for students who are injured or who become unwell during the school day together with leading the first aid team to provide first aid and emergency care to all members of the school community.  You will promote health education and healthy lifestyles and undertake administrative and clerical tasks within the support team as required.
