Home Study and Remote Learning

To support with Home Study, please find planners for each of the key stages below.  Planners have been shared with students, presented in assembly and discussed during form time.  They are designed so that students attempt the assignments before they are due, giving them time to ask for help if needed.

Please encourage your child to use the home study planner, so they can ensure focused time is given to each of their subjects.

Please also encourage your child to speak to their tutor, subject teacher or year lead, if they are experiencing any difficulties in establishing a beneficial home study programme.  The ALC is open every day during breaktimes and after school, with computers available and staff on hand to support students with their Home Study.

Remote learning
If your child needs to work from home, it is important that they can continue their studies. They may be at home for any reason such as self-isolation, suspension, or a reduced timetable. They can access resources for all subjects and new work is added on a regular basis. It mirrors the work in school so that your child will not miss out.

Subject teachers, subject leaders, form tutors and DOSs monitor work completed and will provide feedback as appropriate on return.
