Positive Behaviour Curriculum

At Beechwood School, we believe that positive behaviours are an important part of our curriculum offer within and beyond the classroom.

We make our expectations clear to all through our three artefacts: Respect, Excellence and Kindness.

We reinforce these messages through assemblies, form times, and our daily interactions with young people. 

As staff, we model what we expect to see and have as high expectations of our own conduct as we have for our students.

We celebrate successes towards the weekly positive behaviour focus through our achievement points and "First to Friday" lunch scheme

We all make mistakes and at Beechwood we support students to learn from them and move forward successfully.
